　　SHENZHEN CONTAINER TRAILLER ASSOCIATION is a professional and nongovernmental organization mainly formed of Shenzhen container trailer enterprises on a voluntary basis. The abbreviation is SZCTA. SZCTA was registered and formed in January 2000 permitted by Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau. There are all kinds of enterprises among her members. including large-and-medium-sized sate-owed enterprises and　private ones. The general membership meeting is the highest authority institution in SZCTA, by which the executive council is selected every 4 years. Since the association set up, she has been operating by law, developing perfect rules and regulations, protecting her members’ legitimate rights and interest, and insisting in serving her members. Her purpose is to invoke he bridge effect. Offer qualified services and assist to develop the industry. In order to transmit policy information, enhance learning and exchange and maintain he industry interest for her members. She does her best to develop intermediary function, extend work content and increase the quality of serices. She has established a web site and published association bulletin to make her operation transparency. She reflects difficulties and voices of enterprises without delay so as to strengthen the communication and interaction between the government and enterprises. She contributes a lot in terms of industry investigations. planning, coordination and management. In March 2003, she set up the Shenzhen Container Trailer Convention, and made it in execution. which standardized market behaviors, promoted the industry self-discipline, so as to develop the industry.

With the change of government function, the relation of SZCTA and government will be closer, as a bridge of government and enterprises, she will establish effective institute and strong service function. With the spirit of unity, cooperation and being complementary, she will provide members with more effective services and assistance. Meanwhile, she will pay more attention to establish the contact with the container trailer industry and the relative industry at home and abroad to explore good cooperation.
